Some businesses have all of the resources (professional personnel, equipment, and software) to complete the projects they work on. In other circumstances, however, organizations must acquire products and services for a project, which are typically provided by private sector companies with a technology concentration. Contractual services hired for technology projects are commonly referred to as outsourcing. Products and Services for Database Development: Technology database design, inventory and data collecting, processing, services delivery, quality assurance, ongoing maintenance services, and purchase of a license (s) are typical services that are provided.
Technical Implementation and Support for Operations: On-site outsourced staff to support technology operations or project management, training, software installation and configuration.
